The Internet can truly be a bats–t crazy place. Meghan Markle‘s Suits co-star Patrick J. Adams recently learned the hard way that he won’t be able to post or talk about the gorgeous actress like he used to now that she’s Prince Harry‘s girlfriend.

The Canadian couldn’t believe the social media frenzy that followed when he shared an old pic of Meghan — who plays his fiancée on the hit show — with the caption, “Ross and Rachel — the next generation” (which is of course a reference to the infamous Friends couple). See the headline-making photo and his reaction to the onslaught of comments in the video below!

Meghan spoke out for the first time about her relationship with the redheaded royal in an interview with Vanity Fair, admitting that the sudden increase in media attention was difficult. “It has its challenges, and it comes in waves — some days it can feel more challenging than others,” she said. “And right out of the gate it was surprising the way things changed. But I still have this support system all around me, and, of course, my boyfriend’s support.”

The 36-year-old added, “I don’t read any press. I haven’t even read press for Suits. The people who are close to me anchor me in knowing who I am. The rest is noise.”

Life & Style recently revealed that the couple was forced to delay their engagement announcement due to Kate Middleton’s third pregnancy. “Harry had hoped to officially announce his engagement to Meghan shortly after they returned from their three-week holiday in Botswana at the end of August,” a source shared. But, “Kate’s pregnancy has overshadowed everything else,” another insider admitted. “The timing of these things is all-important.”
