Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher’s Real-Life Love Story Is Straight out of a Movie!
As if Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher‘s relationship couldn’t be any more adorable, the 34-year old actress just blessed us with more details on exactly how their love story started. While promoting her new movie The Spy Who Dumped Me, the usually private Mila opened up on Marc Maron’s WTF podcast about her romance with Ashton, 40, and we’re so obsessed with that she candidly revealed.
Our hearts melted when we previously found out that Ashton was Mila’s first kiss while the two co-starred on That ’70s Show, but their real-life rom-com didn’t start until years later. “I did a movie called Friends with Benefits. He did a movie that was very similar called No Strings Attached,” Mila explained during her new podcast chat. “We lived our movies out. We were like, ‘Let’s just hook up. Let’s have fun. We’re both single. We both trust each other. Everything’s great.’ And (spoiler alert!) just like the plots of both 2011 movies, Ashton and Mila soon fell for each other.
“I felt like I got punched in the gut, literally overnight. I was like, ‘You know what, I actually care about you. I don’t want to mess anything up so I’m going to walk away before it becomes too much.’ And he was like, ‘Got it,'” the mom-of-two continued.
But it didn’t take long for Ashton to realize he couldn’t live without Mila. “The next day, he showed up to my house and he was like, ‘Move in with me,’ and I said, ‘OK,'” Mila revealed.
Though Mila acknowledged that she and Ashton “would never be together” if they’d become a couple back in their That ’70s Show days, she confessed, “it’s just such a bummer that we missed out on 20 years together.” She added, “I look back and I think, ‘We could have spent 20 years together.'”
Today, the couple have been happily married for three years and are parents to two adorable kids, daughter Wyatt, 3, and son Dimitri, 1, together. We’re so happy Mila and Ashton finally became a couple — we love them so much!
