Miranda Lambert and her new boyfriend Anderson East hit the slopes in Aspen for New Year's, but things went downhill when the 27-year-old took a tumble.
According to reports, Anderson broke his collarbone in an unfortunate skiing accident during the couple's winter escape together.
“It was a nasty fall but Miranda was there and helped him heal, took him to get treated,” a source told Us Weekly. “So it wasn’t quite the fun holiday trip they wanted, but they were still happy to be together and he’s really happy she was there nursing him by his side and making sure he was OK.”
“He’s been in a lot of pain but [is] going to rest and heal up now that they’re back home,” the source added. “It was still great to be together, happy and in love over the holidays despite the accident, and they are looking forward to a good new year together.”
Miranda went public with her new relationship over the holidays when she posted the sweet snap above and captioned it, "The snuggle is real..."
Here's to hoping Anderson has a quick recovery!
