OK, this is very sweet. Miranda Lambert showed off a photo of her new husband, Brendan McLoughlin, in a series of pics she shared to Instagram for a good cause on May 23. “Meet Smoke and Bandit!” she captioned the pictures featuring two super adorable pups. “They showed up at the farm last week and we’re bringing them to #CMAFest to get adopted. No vacancy in our Mutt Motel! #FarmLife Register at MuttNation.com to join us at the #MuttNationMarch on June 6 in Nashville to save more pups like them!!”

The third shot in the series was of Brendan clutching the cute pooches and grinning at the camera. The only other time Miranda’s husband was featured on her Instagram before this was when she posted her wedding announcement on February 16, so it’s definitely notable that she decided to include him for this post. Maybe she’s hoping her handsome hubby will help get the puppies a home?

The 35-year-old singer’s fans and followers certainly seemed to appreciate her sharing a new photo of Brendan. “A man who loves Miranda Lambert AND puppies,” one person commented. Another noted, “The guy is just as cute! 😍” And one follower wrote, “Very cute and handsome husband.” We’re sure the country singer and Brendan both appreciate the compliments!

Miranda shocked the world when she revealed that she tied the knot in a secret wedding ceremony just two days after Valentine’s Day this year. “In honor of Valentine’s Day I wanted to share some news,” she wrote on her Instagram announcement. “I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you Brendan Mcloughlin for loving me for … me. ❤️#theone.” Her marriage to Brendan is actually her second; she married fellow country music star Blake Shelton in 2011, but their marriage ended in a nasty divorce in 2015. Here’s hoping this one lasts much longer and is much happier — and is filled with lots of cute pups!
