One of the main storylines on this season of My Big Fat Fabulous Life is the unexpected pregnancy of Whitney Thore's best friend Ashley Baynes. The reality star quickly became a major source of comfort for Ashley — and even served as her "birthing coach" — but fans began to wonder if Whitney was doing a little too much when her pregnant pal called her for a ride to the hospital when she thought her water broke.

"Where is Ashley's baby daddy?" one fan asked on reddit. "I get it, the guy doesn’t want to be on this show, but shouldn’t he be around for the birth of his baby? Why in the hell is Whitney driving Ashley to the hospital and not the baby daddy?" We previously heard Ashley tell Whitney that she hopes her friend finds a love like hers, but viewers weren't so sure about the seemingly absentee dad. It didn't help that Ashley had a total meltdown at an ice cream parlor on the Jan. 30 episode of the hit TLC show.

But a quick look at Ashley's Instagram proves her boyfriend Eric is still very much in the picture. As a matter of fact, she describes him as "one of her three favorite things," just below their daughter Hadley and above food. On Sept. 22, she wrote, "Didn't get to post yesterday on the day of, but happy anniversary to my one & only. You're the reason why I'm dancing in the mirror and singing in the shower." She also admitted that he's a very private person — hence why he's not on the show. "Even though he's not much of an Instagramer, I want to wish my love a happy birthday and thank him for being the best boyfriend & an incredible father to our daughter. I didn't know I could love him any more until I saw him with her. I love you to the and back."

He's also super hands-on when it comes to taking care of Hadley. "Their bond makes my heart melt," Ashley wrote alongside a photo of Eric with the baby. She also described Hadley as a "daddy's girl."

Ashley reminded fans that "while we wish we could get to know all of our loyal fans personally and have you get to know us better, keep in mind there’s just no way you can know someone from watching a few carefully selected moments from our lives on tv." So, nothing to see here, folks. Move along!
