So much for supportive friends! _My Big Fat Fabulous Life _ star Whitney Thore has spent a lot of time talking about the possibility of becoming a mother in the future during Season 5 of the hit TLC series, but now that she finally has a plan about what kind of family she'd like to raise, she's getting some heat from her best friend Todd Beasley. In an exclusive sneak peek from tonight's episode, Todd got brutally honest with Whitney about her plans to adopt a child and raise it with her best friend Tal Fish. As a 33-year-old woman, Whitney has been thinking a lot about her own fertility and motherhood — and those thoughts intensified after her best friend Ashley Baynes got pregnant. Whitney's father Glenn Thore has also been on her case a lot more recently about giving him a grandchild, and even though Whitney would like to become a mother someday, it seems like the odds are stacked against her.

"It's hard because I don't have a boyfriend — I can't even get a date, and on top of that even if I had that, I have fertility problems so it's just a hard thing to face when you feel like you're running out of time," she revealed in her confessional during a previous episode.

But Whitney realized that she doesn't need any of those things in order to make her dream come true, so she decided that she would like to adopt a child and co-parent with her best friend Tal Fish and they could raise that child in a modern family structure.

"I know it's not the most traditional thing to adopt and co-parent with my gay best friend, but actually saying it aloud makes me realize this is something that I could really do. Who cares if other people agree with it?" Whitney said.
