TBH, this makes the most sense. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are reportedly thinking about letting their four-year-old daughter, North, pick out the name for baby No. 3, which the couple are expecting via surrogate. Why? Well, because she’s a “creative genius,” of course.

“They’re considering it, Kim’s kind of on the fence about the idea but Kanye loves it,” a source recently told Hollywood Life. “He thinks North is a creative genius and he’s happy to let her name their third child.”

According to the insider, Kim, 37, has been thinking of ways to get North excited about being a second-time big sister — since she wasn’t so happy about welcoming brother Saint in December 2015. “Kim and Kanye are very concerned about how North is going to react to the new baby. It’s especially challenging because they’re using a surrogate so they can’t even really prepare her,” the source continued. “Kim has called on a parenting expert to get advice on what to do to avoid sibling rivalry this time around and one of the suggestions was to let North help name the baby so she feels more invested.”

Kim previously opened up about North’s envy over Saint’s arrival in a video posted on her official app. “Obviously North loves Saint, she just is still jealous,” the KKW Beauty founder said. “She needs to still get it together and warm up and like be a little bit nicer, but I think she is getting there. I saw glimmers of hope, like, a week ago…She does not like her brother and it’s so hard for me.”

And this time might be even tougher for North as Kim is having another little girl. The Selfish author let the gender slip during a November appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show while explaining North’s feelings about her latest pregnancy. “North is really excited about that. She’s so excited. Let’s see if it lasts. I did explain to her, ‘OK, at 4:00 in the morning, when you come in my room, I’m going to have to be with Baby Sister — I have to feed her,’” Kim said. “We’ll see how it goes.”
