It's the feud that won't die! Pantygate is one of the longest running, nastiest feuds of the Real Housewives franchise, and the fact that it may have directly had hand in one of the cast members' exit from the series is a true testament to its staying power. Pantygate originally started during Season 7 between Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Erika Girardi and Dorit Kemsley, and the drama boiled well into Season 8. Keep scrolling below to find out more about how Pantygate started and how it affected Erika's storyline.

Pantygate started at the White Party

During Season 7, Lisa Vanderpump invited the ladies out to a white party at one of her restaurants. While sitting down in a group of her co-stars Erika announced that she decided to go commando that night so that she wouldn't have an embarassing case of VPL — visible panty line. But Dorit, who was a newcomer to the Season 7 cast and introduced to the ladies by Lisa herself, didn't think it was a good look — especially after her huband Paul "PK" Kemsley told her that Erika allegedly flashed him. Dorit thought that Erika flashed her lady bits to her hubby on purpose, and that's when this feud was ignited.

Dorit's not-so-nice gift

After spreading rumors to the rest of the cast, telling them that Erika had flashed PK on purpose, Dorit took her shade one step further with a super shady gift. While in front of all of their co-stars, Dorit gifted Erika a pair of panties and told her something to the effect that they've all seen her "p—y." Erika reacted as if she was genuinely shocked and embarrassed.

The boat scene

Things came to a head during a cast trip to Hong Kong where the ladies found themselves sailing down a river in a boat and Erika pointed out that the rumors about her allegedly flashing PK on purpose was causing issues in her own marriage to her husband Thomas Girardi, and Erika broke down in tears over the entire ordeal.

Erika and Dorit's brief truce

By the time the ladies returned for Season 8, it seemed like they were able to put all of the pantygate drama behind them, but it was quickly drudged up again when Erika started feuding with new cast member Teddi Mellencamp. Teddi is very close friends with Dorit, so of course she came to Dorit's defense and called out Erika for some mean things she's said about Dorit in the past which sparked a feud between Erika and Teddi — and things came to a head during the Season 8 reunion special.

Is Erika leaving RHOBH?

After she made a ton of enemies during Season 8, it seems like Erika is leaving Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Shortly after part three of the reunion special aired, Erika seemed to confirm the rumors on Instagram by writing, "ERIKA has left the building."
