Paris Hilton’s 10th Grade School Picture Is Seriously Making Us Feel Insecure About Our Own Teenage Years

Remember those awkward AF years in high school? Paris Hilton doesn’t. Because, as the heiress showed fans via her Twitter account on Thursday, Aug. 24, she looked like a straight up supermodel in the 10th grade. Paris shared a black-and-white yearbook photo from her sophomore year, in which she serves commercial-worthy blonde hair and a sultry expression (the one that she would later employ in the super sexy music video for her 2006 pop masterpiece “Stars Are Blind”).

While her voluminous mane and precocious bedroom eyes are giving us all kinds of life, there are a couple other very important things to mention about this particular image of the future socialite. 1) She is serving impeccable fish gape — and this is long before Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and today’s supermodels made fish gape a thing. And 2) She has somehow managed to make a headband look so cool we just might say, “That’s hot.”

According to the reality TV alum, she was always a trendsetter years before she gained notoriety in 2003 thanks to her first reality series, The Simple Life, and a non-consenting starring role in the sex tape 1 Night in Paris. Back in May, Paris told W Magazine that she even pioneered the selfie prior to its popularity among modern social media users.

“If a beeper had a camera, I would have taken a selfie with it. I think I have a selfie from when I was a little kid, like on a disposable camera,” Paris — who has since parlayed her fame into an international lifestyle brand and a perfume empire — told the publication. “We started a whole new genre of celebrity that no one had ever seen before. Nowadays, I feel like it’s so easy becoming famous. Anybody with a phone can do it.”
