Following news that Monty Brinson, the uncle of Paris Hilton, had died at the age of 58 on Jan. 25 after battling cancer, the 34-year-old socialite took to Instagram to express her heartbreak over losing such an "incredible man."

Just days before his death, Monty was active on Instagram, posting well wishes from friends and family, as well as positive messages. One image in particular was of a cake with the message, "Thinking of you," and flowers he received from his niece.

Monty leaves behind a daughter, 29-year-old Brooke Brinson, whom he shares with ex-wife and RHOBH star, Kim Richards.
