The wedding was set for this fall. And then, suddenly, it wasn’t. But that doesn’t mean there’s trouble in paradise for heiress Paris Hilton, 37, and her 33-year-old fiancé, actor Chris Zylka.

She postponed the wedding because “my schedule is insane,” Paris told Life & Style at the Harper’s Bazaar Icons event in NYC on Sept. 7. “My 24th fragrance comes out during November, so I am going to be on tour in Australia and China and Italy. I am not going to have time [to plan] and I want to make it perfect.”

Though work got in the way of her nups, she is prioritizing her love life: She turned down a reboot of The Simple Life because it would’ve meant too much time away from Chris. “I cannot leave him because I love him so much,” she says. “He is my best friend. Planning a wedding to Chris “is very stressful,” Paris admits, “but I love it.”

Fortunately, the former reality star is getting some help from her mother, Kathy. “I love planning weddings — I’m the wedding planner,” Paris’ mom told Life & Style back in January. Naturally, the heiress wants an over-the-top, fairy tale wedding.

The pair has been friends for eight years, but didn’t start seeing each other romantically until a couple of years back. This will be the second engagement for the “Stars Are Blind” singer, who was previously engaged to Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis in 2005 before calling it quits five months later. However, we have a feeling this time around will be very different. “I have never in my life met a man so loyal, dedicated, and loving. I knew right from the start that I wanted to be with him forever,” Paris shared.
