It's been three months since Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon, 18, gave birth to her daughter, Ella Grace, and now she's opening up about life as a new mama. On a recent podcast, the Mama June: From Not to Hot star admitted that while she's been enjoying her new role, she also wished she would've waited to have kids.

"I would probably change how young I was when I had kids because my original plan when I decided that I was gonna have kids, like, when I was younger, I was like, 'Alright, I'm gonna wait until I'm 24,'" she revealed on Gonzo Podcasts. "And I wish maybe sometimes I wish I would've been able to do that."

She added that it's difficult being home while her fiancé, Josh Efrid, is working. "It has its struggles because Josh has a full-time job now, and with it just being me here and Alana some of the time and maybe my mom, it is super hard. But when he gets home, it's not as complicated because he helps out a lot." She added, "Honestly, I'm glad I get to grow with my child."

So excuse the fact that we look rough. But so happy we got to be home this time for the snow and Ella was actually awake. (Don’t worry I didn’t have her outside but long enough to take a picture). ❤️👶🏻👪. @josh_efird

Back in August, the reality star announced she was expecting. "So now that the news is out me and josh are expecting a little one ❤️. So happy to start this new adventure with him ??. Love you baby ?," she wrote on Twitter. But as the due date neared closer, she revealed she was scared about the delivery. "I'm really nervous about having a baby 'cause, I mean, it does have to come out of my hoo-ha," she said in a video. "My baby daddy's head is, like, the size of a freakin' watermelon, so imagine trying to push a watermelon out of your vagina."

Last year, In Touch reported that Josh, who works at a junkyard, proposed to Pumpkin at a restaurant after almost one year of dating — but not everyone was happy about the nuptials! "I think they're too young for marriage. I hope they have a long engagement," Josh's grandmother Linda told Radar Online at the time. "She's very sweet, and I love my grandson."
