Rihanna Claps Back at Commenter Who Said She Looks "High" in Fenty Beauty Ad

Instagram

Oh na na, what's her name? One commenter learned very quickly not to mess with Rihanna — especially when it comes to her Fenty makeup collection. The "Work" singer is busy promoting her Mattemoiselle collection of lipsticks and clapped back at a troll who said it looked like she was on drugs in the promo photo.

"You look high as s--t," the commenter rudely wrote. However, leave it to RiRi to put the fan back in their place. "Or PMS'd," Rihanna replied, referring to the shade of lipstick she was wearing in the stunning image. Today, 14 new shades of lip colors are dropping in her latest launch, including "PMS," "Spanked," and very fittingly, "Clapback."

Of course, fans were loving that Rihanna, 29, responded to her critic — and reassured the Bajan beauty that she did not look high. "Beautiful flawless and gorgeous queen I love you," one follower wrote before another added, "How do you look good in EVERY. SINGLE. SHADE?"

It's disappointing to see commenters putting down Rihanna when it comes to her beauty collection when she has worked so hard to develop an all-inclusive line that works for people of all skin tones. "I wanted everyone to feel included. We actually started with foundation because it’s the very first makeup product I fell in love with," she told InStyle. "You have all these ideas of things you want for yourself, and for me, beauty was a natural fit because makeup is such a huge part of my career and image. I wanted to do a line for years, but it needed to be credible, something that industry pros and girls around the world would respect."

She has also spoken out against young girls feeling the pressure to look perfect on social media. "The biggest mistake you can make is to compare yourself with someone else. I hate the pressure that’s being put on us by social media. Young girls don’t know which way to go; they’re still figuring themselves out," she added. "I can only try my best to encourage girls and women to respect their uniqueness and be 100 percent true to themselves." Keep shining bright (like a diamond), Rihanna!
