Rihanna and Boyfriend A$AP Rocky Welcome Baby No. 1 Together

Must be … baby on the brain! Rihanna welcomed her first child, a baby boy, with boyfriend and rapper A$AP Rocky, In Touch can confirm. The Fenty Beauty founder, who delivered her child in Los Angeles, gave birth on Friday, May 13, according to TMZ. 

Rumors that Rihanna, 34, was pregnant first circulated in November 2021. The following month, a fan DMed the singer on Instagram asking for an invite to the potential baby shower. “True or not your babies are going to be beautiful. Sorry everyone’s up in your uterus right now,” the private message read.

“​​Haaaaa! Stawwwp! You ain’t came to the first 10 baby showers! Y’all breed me every year dammit lol,” The beauty mogul allegedly responded to the fan. Rihanna was playing along with the rumors all too well because she revealed she was pregnant just two months later. 

Rihanna and the “Fashion Killa” rapper announced they were expecting baby No. 1 while being photographed roaming the streets of Harlem, New York, while she rocked the hottest fashion trend of the season: the baby bump. “​​How the gang pulled up to black history month,” Rihanna captioned her February 2 pregnancy reveal via Instagram.

While awaiting the arrival of their first child, an insider told In Touch exclusively in January that the then-parents to be became “more in love than ever.” 

“She’s always wanted to be a mom and now, it’s happening for her,” the source said while revealing that being a mom was a “dream come true” for the “Work” singer.

A$AP Rocky, 33, gushed over the pop star during their first red carpet appearance after Rihanna announced her pregnancy. “Not to lie or gas it, I’ve just never seen a female look so beautiful pregnant,” the “Praise tha Lord” rapper told Extra while attending an event celebrating Fenty Beauty and Fenty skin on February 11, 2022. 

As for RiRi herself, she explained to Entertainment Tonight how she was enjoying everything about her first pregnancy. “It’s all an exciting journey so far. I’m just taking it as it comes every week. There’s always something new and I’m just taking it and I’m enjoying it,” she said in February. 

During their post-pregnancy announcement red carpet appearance, the couple were candid on enjoying the unknowns of pregnancy. “I’m just excited for what I don’t know yet. Everything is new to me. So, I’m excited,” the rapper said.
