Three years before Caitlyn Jenner made her debut as a transgender woman, her stepson Rob Kardashian asked a question about gender identity at the 2012 Miss USA pageant!
"Would you feel it would be fair that a transgender woman wins the Miss USA title over a natural-born woman?" the 28-year-old, who was serving as a judge, asked contestant Olivia Culpo.
After thinking about it for a second, Olivia replied, "I do think that that would be fair. But I can understand that people would be a little apprehensive to take that road because there is a tradition of natural-born women, but today where there's so many surgeries and so many people out there who have a need to change for a happier life, I do accept that, because I believe it's a free country."
The brunette beauty went on to not only win the title of Miss USA, but was later crowned Miss Universe as well.
Discovery of the clip follows Caitlyn's reveal on the cover of Vanity Fair, which the sock designer appears to have whole-heartedly embraced.
"You have always been a role model to me and now more than ever, I look up to you," Rob tweeted following Caitlyn's 20/20 interview with Diane Sawyer in April.
