Scout Willis Follows Sister Rumer’s Lead by Baring Her Thong on the Red Carpet!

Did Scout Willis take inspiration from older sister Rumer Willis when it came to her latest red carpet look?

The 25-year-old stepped out at the Vanity Fair and L’Oreal Paris Toast to Young Hollywood event on Feb. 21 in a completely sheer pink dress that exposed her lacy black bra and thong. She was joined by her sibling, who was decidedly more covered up in a little black dress and leather motorcycle jacket.

But Rumer isn’t always dressed so conservatively. The 28-year-old made headlines in 2014 when she flashed her bright pink undies in a super daring — and wardrobe malfunction prone — cutout skirt.

The daughters of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, along with younger sister Tallulah, have never been afraid to bare some skin, whether in public or on social media. Scout has gone braless in a see-through top at least twice before, once at a Nylon + BCBGeneration party in 2014 and again in 2015 while out in LA for a birthday party.

She’s also a big supporter of “Free the Nipple,” a campaign which advocates a woman’s right to show her body when and wherever she wants. And after walking around topless in NYC a few years ago, the Brown University grad explained her controversial stance.

“I understand that people don’t want to take me seriously. Or would rather just write me off as an attention-seeking, over-privileged, ignorant, white girl,” she wrote in a blog post for xoJane.com at the time. “I am white and I was born to a high profile and financially privileged family. I didn’t choose my public life, but it did give me this platform. A platform that helps make body politics newsworthy.”

Scout claimed she wanted to start a dialogue about “the taboo of the nipple in the 21st century, public breastfeeding, slut shaming, fat shaming, breast cancer awareness, body positivity, gender inequality, and censorship.”
