After years of public scrutiny surrounding her body, Selena is all about learning to feel comfortable in the skin she’s in. While sharing in February 2023 how she gained some weight due to a lupus drug, the “Wolves” singer said in a TikTok video, “Not a model, never will be. And I think they’re awesome, mind you. I’m just definitely not that.”

She added, “I just wanted to tell you I love you guys, and thanks for supporting me and understanding. And if not, go away, ’cause honestly I don’t believe in shaming people for [their bodies] or anything.”
