‘RHONJ’ Star Siggy Flicker Is Not Apologizing for Calling Margaret Josephs Anti-Semitic!
Don't mess with Siggy Flicker! The Real Housewives of New Jersey star is standing by her comments after she accused her co-star Margaret Josephs of being anti-Semitic. On Wednesday's episode of the reality series, Siggy called out the pig-tailed reality star for making an insensitive Adolf Hitler comparison at dinner.
Previously, Margaret asked, "But Siggy, Hitler would have not killed me. Does that make him a good person?” when confronting her about walking in Kim D.'s fashion show, despite the fact that Kim was spreading cheating rumors about Teresa Giudice. This did not sit well with Siggy, whose father is a Holocaust survivor.
“Margaret will always go below the belt to hurt me. The fact that she would say Hilter’s name when she knows I’m a super Jew? My father’s a Holocaust survivor," she said during a confessional. "What kind of person has Hitler on their mind? … I want to call Margaret out about how insensitive it was to reference Hilter when we were talking about a fashion show!”
She later confronted Magaret at the table, saying, "In our lives, there are going to be people who don’t like me and vice versa. I’m going to use Margaret as an example. Just recently, for us to be in an argument and all of a sudden for her to use Hitler as a comparison — it’s inappropriate. Can you guys admit it?”
However, Margaret defended her analogy and reminded Siggy that her own children are Jewish. “I said, ‘Hitler would have been good to me, does that make him a good person?’” she explained. “Kim D.’s only goal in life is to destroy Teresa and Melissa. She’s f–king evil. And how are you supposed to make analogies about evil people if you can’t use the evil people's names!”
Hitler should never be referenced in a casual conversation that is far removed from talking about History/The Holocaust – especially in the presence of Holocaust survivor/scholar’s family member! Not appropriate! #RHONJ pic.twitter.com/L1pnus0qpI

After the episode aired, Siggy stood by her decision to call Margaret anti-Semitic and refused to apologize. "I forgive when someone sincerely apologizes. But when someone apologizes and five minutes later repeats their actions, is that a sincere apology? I’ve had enough of the constant jabs! Never back down to a MEAN GIRL," she wrote on Instagram. She also listed everything Margaret has done to her this season, including calling her "Soggy" Flicker, mocking her medical condition, and targeting her relationship with her son. However, it was the Hitler comment that still seemingly irks Siggy the most.
"HITLER? Really? She purposely inserted herself in a conversation to once again inflame a situation & hurt me. She didn’t look at Dolores, Teresa, Danielle, or Melissa; she looked at ME, the only Jewish girl & referenced a mass murderer, knowing that my father Dr. Mordecai Paldiel is a Holocaust Survivor, & Scholar," she added. "I wouldn’t be alive today if Hitler had his way & my father & his father didn’t have the help of a Catholic priest in Evian, France to escape! Hitler rolled off her tongue so effortlessly. The Hitler reference was cold, calculated & meant to freeze me in my tracks!"
