Sofia Vergara's ex is headed to the big screen!
Nick Loeb makes his TriBeCa film festival debut this weekend for his role in the action-thriller Precious Cargo alongside Bruce Willis and Mark Paul Gosselaar — but the businessman and former fiancé of the Modern Family star says he's no stranger to the acting world.
"I’ve been acting my whole life. I did it in junior high, high school, university and I wrote and directed as well," the 40-year-old told Life & Style prior to the film's release. "I didn't want to wait tables while trying to act so I started my business at 23 and then a real estate business at 25 years old."

However, the acting bug bit again! In fact, he took his role of the mess-up best friend so seriously that he even begged the director to do his own stunts.
"I did everything they allowed me to do. I tried, but there are rules — union and insurance rules," the finance scion said. "There's one scene where I run down the street in a speedo, and hop into an ice team truck that crashes through a gate and I wanted to drive the car, but they wouldn’t let me."
So is he ready to make acting his full time gig? "I can’t live off of acting, so I run my food company," he continued. "I would go back into my trailer between takes and work. One time I was in the middle of a conference call and had to jump out of a tow trunk for a scene. It was a call with all my sales people and I had tell them, 'I'm so sorry guys, I have to go jump out of a truck!'"
At least he got to do that stunt! Watch the action-packed trailer in the video below!
