With the news of a potential Hills reunion on the horizon, we can’t help but feel like it’s 2010 all over again — and we’re pumped! As MTV has already proven with Jersey Shore Family Vacation, nostalgia is key and viewers cannot get enough. That said, even when they weren’t filming, the J. Shore cast remained a family. The Hills cast on the other hand? Erm, not so much.

Cue Spencer Pratt‘s current Twitter feud with Lo Bosworth — and buckle up, it’s going to get bumpy. It all began when Spencer came across an image on Twitter that featured a pretty pointed quote from Lo regarding a reunion. It read, “F–k no! I don’t want any association with any of those people [former Hills castmates]. The disassociation from all those people is what I’m hungry for.”

OK, so, not exactly the nicest thing to say, but, hey! Maybe Lo wasn’t trying to be nice — maybe she was just trying to be real (unlike The Hills). Spencer decided he wanted to be real too, clapping back with, “Lol nobody was calling you for #thehills anything.” He also threw in three coffin emojis, because of course he did.

What followed isn’t entirely surprising, but, without a doubt the sort of Hills drama we so dearly miss:

Now that you have some context, Life & Style spoke with Spencer at the Shorty Awards in NYC at the Playstation Theater on April 15 — Lo was also in attendance, FYI. When asked if he was nervous to bump into her he said, “I wouldn’t even know what she looked like, to be honest. She’d have to introduce herself to me.”

Well, there you have it! Even at 34 and 31 years old, Spencer and Lo aren’t opposed to a little social media squabble, followed by some savage bad-mouthing. If that doesn’t sound like perfect reboot material, we don’t know what does.
