It's been a minute since a Bachelor couple has walked down the aisle — and producer Mike Fleiss is hoping to help fans with wedding withdrawals. Mike hinted that he is working on a special that can see more than one currently engaged couple from the reality dating franchise get married on television.
"Working on a plan for a multiple wedding series featuring all of our engaged couples. Time to tie the knots," he tweeted. However, we have to issue a disclaimer that this just might be publicity for the upcoming season of the show, seeing as Mike is known for making empty promises on social media.
However, if this is happening the network does have a few couples to choose from when it comes to finally tying the knot. Kaitlyn Bristowe, who has been engaged to Shawn Booth since 2015, recently revealed that she already has her dress picked out for her big day — even though she has yet to set a date. "My girlfriend [bridal designer] Hayley Paige is here in New York so she obviously gets super excited over wedding dresses," she said on The Morning Breath podcast. "We've talked about it, she's shown me some of her designs, and I think I chose one that I really loved."
Then there is JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers, but they have made it very clear they don't want cameras at their wedding. "There's a distinct intimacy and privacy and it's a very special moment with family and friends, and I wouldn't want anything to tarnish that or to take away from that," Jordan said. But that's not stopping JoJo from doing a bit of wedding planning, telling In Touch, “I have so many different ideas. I could see myself getting married on a beach, or in the country. I’m really into the rustic look right now."
And then there is Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo — who recently hinted that they could be going abroad to Colombia for their nuptials. "There's a town just about an hour and a half away from where my family is from it's called, Cartagena. It's a beautiful beach town," Bryan told Access Hollywood. "I've actually been to a wedding there before. I think her family would love it, so we're definitely considering that." Derek Peth and Taylor Nolan are also an option but it may be too soon for the pair, who got engaged this past summer. Fingers crossed Mike actually makes this multiple wedding special happen!
