Is the end near for the Duggars?
An industry insider tells Life & Style that with numerous advertisers pulling commercials from the new TLC series, Jill & Jessa: Counting On, and so many ad dollars gone, it's unlikely to be renewed for another season!
“There is no way TLC can keep this on the air,” David Johnson, CEO of Strategic Vision PR, tells Life & Style. “TLC may think the family is ratings gold, but to advertisers, they’re more like the Zika virus!”
Recent reports from In Touch magazine revealed that more than a dozen advertisers were pulling commercials that had previously run during the spin-off series.
“The advertisers have spoken and the Duggar brand is tainted by Josh,” the insider tells Life & Style. “The show doesn’t even have to feature him. The Duggar name is damaged.”
“They are absolutely doomed,” says the insider, adding that they “built their empire on truth, faith and family, and all of that imploded with Josh’s scandals.”
