He's one of Whitney Thore's loyal best friends and a passionate supporter in her weight loss journey, but how well do you really know Todd Beasley? The athletic *My Big Fat Fabulous Life_ star's birthday is April 17 according to his Twitter, but there's so much more to know about him! Read on to learn about the reality star.

Whitney and Todd go way back.

Whitney and Todd have been friends long before she ever got her big break on TLC. Their friend Heather Sykes posted a suuuper throwback photo on Facebook in 2016, and explained how they all met. "#tbt to where it all began," she wrote. "This was 2002 and we were seniors in high school. Whitney came to our high school to perform in our production of Grease. Whitney was Cha Cha, I was Rizzo, and Todd was Kenickie. The beginning of something truly FABULOUS!" You can say that again!

Todd is actually Ashley's cousin.

While Todd has a long history with Whitney, he has an even longer one with co-star Ashley Baynes. That's because they're actually related! "While it’s true that Todd is my cousin (my grandma and his dad are first cousins), we did not grow up with typical cousin interactions – we saw one another maybe a handful of times before we were high school aged," explained Ashley on Instagram. "I mention that only to express that our friendship is a genuine choice. Todd Beasley is the best friend I’ve ever had."

Ashley was concerned that Todd was looking less-than-perfect on MBFFL, so she wanted fans to know what a quality person he is! "He’s let me borrow money when times were hard," she continued. "He brought me a care package when I was pregnant and too sick to move from my couch. He’s my constant text thread, my constant comedian, my constant car singing companion. He’s my constant in general life. I understand how he’s come across on the show recently, but I just ask you to understand that what you see on tv isn’t any of us as a whole."

Todd is a dance teacher.

Todd's love of performing began back in high school, and he went on to make a career of it! He went to Elon University in North Carolina for musical thearer, and now he's a dance teacher. We've definitely seen him show off his moves on the show, and his clients absolutely love his classes!
