Fans of the Queer Eye for the Straight Guy reboot will remember Tom Jackson for his love of redneck margaritas and vintage cars. However, nothing compared to the love he had for his ex-wife Abby — who was the inspiration for him to makeover his life.
"I love Abby more than anything," he said during his episode of the Netflix show. "She says she loves me. I know I love her. You'll have to ask her why she's not with me." It wasn't long before the stars of the show, Bobby Berk, Antoni Porowski, Karamo Brown, Jonathan Van Ness, and Tan France, reunited the former couple, who were busy planning their second date.
Well, Tom and Abby will soon be planning their wedding because Tom just announced he popped the question to his soul mate, and she said yes! "It's official, Abby and I are engaged," he tweeted on Monday, March 12 along with a photo of her beautiful engagement ring. "What a Netflix special [that] would be. If the Fab 5 planned and attended our wedding!!!!!!!!!"

Tom even wants the Fab 5 to take part in the ceremony, adding, "Everyone is welcome to come to the wedding... I'd love for Bobby [to] be best man and the other 4 to be my groomsmen." His grandson Chandler has already nabbed the ringbearer position.
The road back to the altar has not been bump-free. Shortly after the premiere of the reboot, Tom announced that the couple had split in late February before getting back together a few weeks later. "So happy to say that Abby and I are reunited," he tweeted earlier this month. "We've loved each other for many years and we want to spend the rest of our lives together!!!!!!!!" As expected, fans hope Netflix cameras captured the nuptials.

And Tom and Abby aren't the only Queer Eye alums tying the knot. It was also recently revealed that Atlanta native AJ, who came out to his stepmom on the series, is engaged to his longtime boyfriend. "We've got some news that will make your week," the show's Twitter account shared. "AJ and Drey are engaged. Our gay hearts are exploding." Congrats to all the happy couples!
