Khloé Kardashian Was Trying to Change Before Tristan Thompson Called Off the Wedding (EXCLUSIVE)

After a big fight, Tristan Thompson pulled the plug on his wedding with girlfriend Khloé Kardashian.

Despite Khloé, 32, trying to do everything right by keeping their engagement secret to prevent Kris Jenner from trying to cash in, sources reveal exclusively to Life & Style that the 26-year-old athlete got cold feet.

“Khloé and Tristan talked a lot about their marriage,” says an insider. “But now everything she thought would happen is on hold.

The KUWTK star even agreed not to get married on TV and have a small ceremony in hopes Tristan wouldn’t have a change of heart.

“If Kris had known marriage was in the works, she would have tried to turn the wedding into a star-studded affair for the show,” the source adds.

Getting dumped by the Cleveland Cavaliers player must have been a huge blow for Khloé, who recently admitted she stopped taking birth control.

“Tristan and I definitely talk about starting a family,” she said on the family’s reality show. “He wants to have five or six kids with me and that’s lovely. We could start at one and we could grow from there. But now knowing I’m not on birth control is just like — it’s scary. It’s like a really big step.”

While Khloé continues having bad luck in love, her older sister Kim Kardashian is ready to expand her family with Kanye West and hired a surrogate for baby No. 3.

“Kim and Kanye will use a surrogate to carry their third baby. They are both very excited to give their kids a sibling,” a source told People magazine. “She really misses having a baby in the family. They looked for a while before they found the perfect surrogate.”

Fingers crossed Khloé and Tristan can work things out.
