Tyga Arrested After Partying in Hollywood One Week After Moving out of Kylie Jenner’s House
Poor Tyga — he can’t catch a break!
Just one week after he moved out of his girlfriend Kylie Jenner’s house, the “Rack City” rapper was arrested! The incident occurred on Wednesday, April 12 as he was leaving the Avenue Nightclub in Hollywood at around 2 a.m. when the LAPD pulled him over.
As officers handcuffed him and led him away to a police car, Tyga told TMZ cameras that he was pulled over because he had paper plates on his brand new Mercedes G Wagon.

But he was actually stopped because he ran a stop sign and he didn’t have proper license plates on his new car — which he flaunted on Instagram earlier that day, E! News reported. After the cops pulled him over for a routine traffic stop, they decided to give him a sobriety test for a possible DUI.
The 27-year-old was transferred to the police station to take the test because of all of the paparazzi at the scene. Tyga passed the test at the station and was let go with a ticket for driving without a driver’s license or insurance. He was only detained and never formally arrested or charged with a crime.

Even though he was lucky enough to walk away with just a traffic violation, he’s still had his share of ups and down in the past few weeks. Last month, rumors of his split with Kylie started swirling after fans noticed that the couple has not posted photos of each other on social media since Valentine’s Day.
With his on-again, off-again relationship on the outs again, Tyga focused his attention on his music career. He dropped two new songs last Monday — just days before reports claimed that he had already moved out of his 19-year-old girlfriend’s $6 million mansion. But they haven’t called it quits just yet.
“They’re not broken up,” a source told Us Weekly. “They’re just not spending as much time together.”
