A true angel! Most models dream of one day becoming a Victoria’s Secret angel or even having the honor to walk in the annual fashion show, and Chinese model Ming Xi had the privilege to walk in the 2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Nov. 20 — which marked her fifth time being a part of the event — but she, unfortunately, took a nasty spill when she fell on the catwalk. When the show made its TV premiere on Tuesday, Nov. 28, CBS producers decided to air the footage of Ming falling and fans were so outraged that they took to Twitter to vent out their frustrations. Watch the video below to see how Twitter reacted.

In the footage that aired on CBS, Ming wore a gorgeous outfit with billowing sleeves and a long, flowy train that she playfully swung back and forth with her hands as she strutted down the runway. But it seems like she accidentally stepped on the train’s fabric and took a tumble to the ground, landing on her knees. She paused for a moment to fix her hair and readjust the white floral backpiece that she was wearing, and her fellow model Gizele Oliveira — who was directly after her in line — quickly walked over and helped her up, clapping for her as she finished her walk.

But cameras continued to follow Ming backstage and captured the moment that she got off the runway, bursting into tears. Victoria’s Secret angel and veteran Lily Aldridge came up to Ming as she sobbed, giving her a big hug. “It’s okay, dont’ worry. You’re so beautiful and you looked so beautiful at the end,” Lily told Ming, and Ming took to Instagram to thank Gizele and Lily for their kindness.

“[Gizele] thank you for helping me up after the fall, it was a very selfless and loving act from you,” Ming wrote. “Thank you to all the girls who rushed to comfort me at backstage after what had happened, you are all family to me.”
