CBS announced the premiere date for the American version of Celebrity Big Brother via Twitter on Friday, Dec. 1 — and we only have a few months to wait until the UK reality TV staple finally makes its US debut. CBB will grace our small screens over here in the States on Wednesday, Feb. 7.

While we finally have a premiere date, we have yet to find out which famous faces will be joining the inaugural cast of CBB. The lineup hasn’t been announced, but there are already rumors that two former MTV reality stars and a foe of the Kardashians will be featured on the show.

According to a recent report from Radar Online, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola is skipping out on the upcoming Jersey Shore reboot because she most likely has already committed to CBB. “Sammi is working on another project. I believe she is joining Celebrity Big Brother,” a source told the website, while The Sun reported that Hills alum Stephanie Pratt — who appeared on the British version of CBB in 2014 — has already had meetings with producers about a spot on the US’ first installment.

And, most exciting of all, CBS is reportedly doing their best to convince Blac Chyna to sign on. “The production team behind the show is trying to get Chyna to do Celebrity Big Brother,” an insider told Us Weekly last month. Of course, Chyna has had her fair share of experience on reality TV. Prior to starring on her own E! show, Rob & Chyna, alongside ex-fiancé Rob Kardashian, the video vixen made multiple appearances on Keeping Up With the Kardashians with her bestie-turned-legal opponent Kim Kardashian.

Back in September, Big Brother host Julie Chen announced that the first-ever celebrity edition would premiere in winter 2018. On Friday, Dec. 1, the Talk personality expressed her enthusiasm for the new project by reminding fans to “mark [their] calendars.”
