Who Is Cazzie David? Pete Davidson’s Ex-GF Is Reportedly Living With Late Rapper Mac Miller’s Brother
Here’s a wild set of dating circumstances. Shortly after Saturday Night Live comedian, Pete Davidson, and his longtime girlfriend Cazzie David broke up in May 2018, he began dating and quickly got engaged to Ariana Grande. The singer had just split from her longtime boyfriend, rapper Mac Miller. Fast-forward to 2021, and Cazzie has reportedly been dating and is now living with the late musician’s brother, Miller McCormick.
“They’ve been together for a while now,” a source told Page Six about Cazzie and Miller, adding, “It’s been over a year of them dating, possibly closer to two.”
A rep for Cazzie did not immediately respond to Life & Style‘s request for comment.
The daughter of Curb Your Enthusiasm star and creator, Larry David, and the artist-graphic designer are reportedly living together in a four-bedroom, four-bathroom house in Miller’s native Pittsburgh. “They seem like nice kids,” a neighbor told the outlet, adding, “They keep to themselves.”
Their happy life is a far cry from where things stood a few years ago. Following her split from Pete, Cazzie took a two-week hiatus from Instagram. But during her social media break, it was confirmed that the King of Staten Island star was already hot and heavy with the “Side to Side” singer. The TV writer addressed it in a super shady Instagram caption upon her return.
“Been in Africa, what’d I miss??” the scribe and actress captioned the Instagram snapshot. Many fans interpreted the caption as Cazzie shading Ari and Pete’s newfound romance.
In mid-May 2018, Pete confirmed that he and Cazzie had called it quits after two years together. “We’re not together anymore,” Pete told People. “She’ll be great, and she’ll be fine,” he added. Pete went on to call his ex-girlfriend a “very talented girl.”
A week after announcing his breakup, Pete was spotted with Ariana at the Comedy Store in Los Angeles. She was fresh off a breakup with Mac, whom she had dated since 2016, and the pair also called it quits in early May. By early June, after approximately three weeks of dating, Pete and Ariana got engaged. Their whirlwind romance began to fall apart following Mac’s death in September 2018 from an accidental overdose, leaving the singer heartbroken. A month later, Pete and Ariana were over.
She later told Vogue in 2019 how “unrealistic” the situation was with Pete. “My friends were like, ‘Come! We’re gonna have a fun summer.’ And then, I met Pete, and it was an amazing distraction. It was frivolous and fun and insane and highly unrealistic, and I loved him, and I didn’t know him.” As of late 2021, Pete is now dating Kim Kardashian, Ariana is married to realtor Dalton Gomez, and Cazzie is reportedly living with Ariana’s late ex-boyfriend’s brother.
