If you've never heard of Splitting up Together, it's about time you get acquainted. The hilarious new sitcom — which, BTW, is produced by Ellen DeGeneres — follows the lives of Lena (Jenna Fischer) and Martin (Oliver Hudson) as they learn how to co-parent post-divorce, all while living under the same roof. On last night's episode, fans were introduced to Wes (aka Lena's hot new flame) but they didn't recognize the actor who plays him. Luckily, we've done some research for you, and it turns out, you've seen him many times before.

Trent Garrett — yes, even his name is sexy AF — 34, has starred in a number of television shows and films, most notably All My Children, New Girl, and Kevin (Probably) Saves the World. In an interview with the Daily Press back in 2010, he admitted, however, that being an actor isn't easy. "It's a very fickle industry, and it's often hard to come upon steady, consistent work," he said. "You have to stick with it and not have a backup plan so that you won't fall back on it. I basically keep studying and auditioning."

Where for art all the naked hearts The ones who love to fight through art When problems arise they don't criticize They paint a boat in a sea that is capsized They hold missing children with a mother's arms And plant seeds of compassion on unsustainable farms They sing words of love while whispering in deaf ears Because they pray one day these lost souls will hear That inner voice who is meant to be a warrior And not just here to be the world's lost currier I wish to feast with all of you childlike spirits At a table with the lost ones who's doubt we will smear it With color from a rainbow on a mystical timeless day When the earth bowed deeply to the beasts who got tamed -TG — 📷: the one, the only, Iglesias.. aka @douginglish

Trent attended Gloria Day Lutheran School and Hampton Christian Middle School before graduating from Grafton High. After one semester at Liberty University, he dropped out to pursue a career in modeling and acting. "It was kind of something I had always wanted to do once I realized I had the opportunity," he told the publication.

Unfortunately for single women everywhere, he is happily taken. The actor has been dating his Insta-perfect girlfriend, Maya, for quite some time. And although we hate to admit it, they're pretty cute together. That said, maybe he's got a brother? Preferably a 6'2 dog lover who enjoys binge-watching How I Met Your Mother? Asking for a friend. JK, I'm totally asking for myself.

Splitting up Together airs Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. EST on ABC.
