Things might not be exactly peachy keen for The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Sheree Whitfield. A report from Love B. Scott claimed that the reality star is leaving the hit Bravo reality TV series because she was allegedly fired from the show, though no reason as to what could have caused the big move was given — nor was an official confirmation or denial from the star herself. However, the rumors don’t come completely out of the blue, as in 2012, the star quit the series after four seasons only to make an appearance in Season 8 and return as a regular for the next two seasons. But why did Sheree leave RHOA the first time?

“The direction the show is going in is no longer a fit for my lifestyle. I’m tired of the fighting and the cattiness,” she told People in 2012. “I want to be part of something that empowers and inspires women to not only be healthy, but to treat themselves with respect.” At the time, Sheree also made it clear that she wasn’t fired from the show, and that she made the decision to leave on her own accord. “I was ready to move, and I don’t need to explain myself to anybody. I am super happy, and I’m moving in a different direction,” she explained one month after the news broke. “I’m not about just being on a show bickering and fighting with women.”

While the casting rumors have yet to be confirmed this time around, castmate Porsha Williams seemingly threw shade at the star the same day the report was published by simply tweeting “karma” alongside the peach emoji.

According to Love B. Scott, Porsha, as well as castmates NeNe Leakes, Kandi Burruss, and Cynthia Bailey are all expected to return for Season 11. However, Kim Zolciak is allegedly choosing to sit the next season out, while Eve Marcille may be promoted to a regular cast member.
