Pop Goes Country! Halsey Dazzles on the Red Carpet at the 2019 CMAs — See Photos
If you’re a fan of Halsey’s music, then you already know that she’s not exactly a country kind of gal. That said, the NJ native, 25, happens to be one of the most versatile artists in the industry today. With that, it’s not surprising to see Halsey was invited to perform at the 2019 Country Music Association Awards alongside Lady Antebellum.
Of course, ahead of what’s sure to be an incredible show, we need to talk about Halsey’s outfit for the star-studded evening. The “Clementine” singer wore a gorgeous, floor-length floral gown with a sweetheart neckline that ahem, definitely accentuated her assets. As for the glam? *Pauses to swoon.* Halsey’s hair looked country strong, that’s for sure! The newly minted redhead — inspired by Rose in Titanic — opted for a short bob with lots of curls and volume. It is Nashville, after all.
The only thing missing from Halsey’s dazzling look was her newly public boyfriend, Evan Peters. The A-list pair made their red carpet debut at the American Horror Story 100th celebration on October 26. Considering the event was just a few days before Halloween, Halsey and Evan, 32, dressed as Cher and her late ex-husband, Sonny Bono.
Unfortunately, the couple’s sweet moment was partly overshadowed by Halsey’s fans wanting to know what transpired between her and fellow artist Yungblud. After all, the rocker duo had been going strong for months. On October 28, just two days after stepping out with Peter, Halsey addressed the split.
“Sometimes people just break up,” she wrote in a since-deleted tweet. “It doesn’t mean someone cheated or something bad happened or someone f–ked up. Sometimes it just happens because life is constantly changing and adults stay friends and move on.” Shortly after, Halsey followed up with, “Now you know what you know,” along with a heart emoji.
