Will Smith’s Dad Has Died, According to His Ex-Wife

Will Smith's dad, Willard Carroll Smith Sr., has died, according to the actor's ex-wife, Sheree Zampino.

She announced the news via Instagram on Monday with a throwback photo of Will and his late father posing with the former couple's now 23-year-old son, Trey.

Will and Sheree were previously married from 1992 until 1995, and welcomed Trey in November 1992. The I, Robot star wed Jada Pinkett Smith in 1997, and the happy couple is parents to son Jaden, 18, and daughter Willow, 16.
