Biography

Rachel Lindsay Abasolo first appeared as a contestant on season 21 of The Bachelor with Nick Viall. After finishing in third place, she went on to become the Bachelorette during season 13, where she met husband Bryan Abasolo, a doctor of chiropractic. The reality TV couple wed in August 2019, and Rachel joined her husband in his hometown of Miami. In 2020, they relocated to Los Angeles.

In 2018, Rachel appeared as a guest host on ESPN’s First Take. She then started hosting the network’s radio show “Football Frenzy” with former Dallas Cowboys linebacker Bobby Carpenter. The following year, the Texas native became a special correspondent for Extra and began hosting Ghosted: Love Gone Missing on MTV with Travis Mills

In 2020, Extra announced Rachel was hired as a full-time correspondent for the outlet. It was also revealed she was in talks with 20th Century Fox to host and coexecutive produce a court show called Judge Rachel’s Court, expected to premiere in September 2021. In addition, Rachel hosts the “Higher Learning” podcast with Van Lathan and appeared on the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast with former Bachelorette star Becca Kufrin for over a year before ending her contract with the franchise in April 2021.

Prior to appearing in Bachelor Nation, Rachel received her J.D. degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and became licensed to practice law in the state of Texas in 2011.
