Big sisters give the best advice! Khloé Kardashian shocked fans during the season finale of the long-running E! series Keeping Up With the Kardashians when she revealed that she stopped taking birth control in order to try and have a baby with her boyfriend, NBA star Tristan Thompson. But Khloé has yet to conceive and sources exclusively reveal to Life & Style that her older sister Kim Kardashian is coming to the rescue!
“[Khloé] has been trying to get pregnant with Tristan for more than four months but so far, no luck,” an insider reveals. “Kim has been pushing Khloé to hire a surrogate."
Kimmy knows from experience that surrogacy is the way to go! After experiencing a scary health issue during her first pregnancy with four-year-old daughter North West. She was forced into labor about six weeks earlier than expected because of early-onset preeclampsia. She also developed placenta accreta, which is when placenta stays attached to the uterine wall after childbirth.
Her second pregnancy with one-year-old Saint West was considered high-risk, so a third pregnancy would be too dangerous for her health — so she decided to hire a surrogate to carry the baby for her and she was already taking steps to make that happen, whether her husband Kanye West was on board or not. “She wants to choose someone outside of the state of California, where there are all kinds of surrogacy laws,” an insider previously revealed to Life & Style. “She’s ready to go.”
And it looks like she didn't waste any time! Last month, Us Weekly reported that Kim's surrogate is three months pregnant — and now that she's had such a successful experience, she wants her sister to explore her options so that she could become a mommy too.
“Kim’s been flooding Khloé with lots of information,” the insider says. “She gave Khloé a list of surrogate contacts. Kim also has a team of lawyers, nutritionists and physicians keeping her surrogate healthy, and she wants to put Khloé in touch with them.”
