A new hero emerged on reality TV last night, and his name is Peter Kraus. Rachel Lindsay broke up with the hunky personal trainer on The Bachelorette finale after he admitted that he wasn't ready to propose to her after, you know, less than eight weeks of dating. But now fans want to know: is Peter on Bachelor in Paradise?
Unfortunately, you won't be seeing the 31-year-old on your television screens over the next couple of weeks, but that may turn out to be a good thing! Fans are already campaigning for Peter to become the next Bachelor, and with Dean Unglert heading to Paradise, that leaves the path wide open for the Wisconsin native.
And Dean, who quickly became a fan favorite but was sent packing after hometowns, agrees that his buddy should take the reigns next season. "Hands down Peter 2018," he previously told E! News. "I just don’t think I’m ready for it. I just think that from an emotional standpoint I need to figure out a lot more about myself before I dive in and be the lead of anything. I think I have a ways to go before I’m ready for something like that."
For what it's worth, social media wants to see more of that gap-toothed grin! "I hope Peter doesn't win so he becomes the next bachelor," one Twitter user wrote, while another said, "Really only watching tonight to make sure Peter is locked down as the next Bachelor."
Though Peter won't be appearing on BiP, viewers are definitely in for a wild season thanks to newcomers like Raven Gates and returning faves Amanda Stanton and Daniel Maguire — not to mention, the scandal that nearly derailed the show.
