The Kardashian Kids and the Royal Kids Have More in Common Than You Think

It's been said again and again that the Kardashians are America's royal family. After all, it makes sense. They're by far the most famous celebrity family right now, they're building a dynasty of multiple generations (so that we'll never be free of them), and their lives are full of drama — the perfect concoction for non-stop tabloid fodder. Sure they may not act like prim and proper members of the monarchy, but they're still royals in every other sense of the word. It's for that reason that the Kardashian-Jenner kids are starting to walk closely in the shadows of their neighbors across the pond. It might not look like it on the outside, but the royal children and the Kardashian kids are pretty much the same.

Both families love to pamper their kids, and the tiny tykes look like they live very spoiled lives, naturally. But of course, there are downsides to growing up famous. While the Kardashians have given their kids quirky names to ensure the next generation of KarJenners will always be in the public eye, the royal family have taken a much more subdued approach to raising their kids. "I fight for them to have a normal life," Prince William told GQ in 2017. "Stability at home is so important to me. I want to bring up my children in a happy, stable, secure world, and that is so important to both of us as parents. I want [Prince] George to grow up in a real, living environment. I don’t want him growing up behind palace walls, he has to be out there."

Despite the Kardashians' thirst for fame and attention, they too allow their kids be kids, from letting North West spend her birthday at Disneyland to even keeping her off of YouTube. In the end, you have to admit that the two families and their offspring are awfully similar. Below, more ways royal kids and the Kardashian kids are just alike.
