Just because Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kris Humphries after 72 days of marriage doesn't mean Kris is going to make it easy for her to separate! Life & Style can exclusively reveal that the NBA free agent is withholding from giving his John Hancock on the divorce papers.
"He's not signing," a pal close to Kris tells Life & Style. "He doesn't believe in divorce.
Kim took a trip to Minnesota this past weekend to meet with Kris and Pastor Joel Johnson, who married the couple, reportedly to talk through their issues and hash things out face-to-face.
But Kris has made sure to let the world know he will not give up his marriage without a fight.
"I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce," Kris Humphries said in a statement via his rep to Life & Style. "I'm committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents. I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make it work."
And expressing the same sentiments, Pastor Joel also weighed in on the issue, stating, "I would love to connect with Kim and try to pull the reins back and redirect this energy in a more redemptive way."
