Season 14 of Dancing With the Stars is still several weeks away, but that doesn't mean pro dancers Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Tony Dovolani are taking a break from the dance floor!
NYC-based fans will get the chance to see Tony, Maks and other DWTS favorites perform when ballroom bad boy Maks celebrates his 32nd birthday during Dance With Me Presents: Maksim & Friends Ballroom Birthday Bash at NYC's Hammerstein Ballroom on Jan. 27.
"We constantly get requests from people who want to meet us or watch us dance live," Tony, who is co-hosting the event along with Maks' brother Val, tells Life & Style. "So we decided to throw this bash honoring Maks' birthday and also give fans a little taste of what we all experience on DWTS. It's going to be very entertaining, with singers, dancing and a lot of fun."
The highlight of the night, says Tony? A roast of the tempestuous birthday boy.
"All of us are actually going for it a little bit," laughs Tony. "But Maks is a good sport when it comes to the roast -- he may not show it then, but he could be a little upset later!"
Past DWTS celebrity contenders Kirstie Alley and Erin Andrews, as well as The Real Housewives of New York's Ramona Singer, are also tapped to come out for the event.
