For years, there’s been talk about the old Full House gang reuniting for one last hurrah. Time after time, we were let down. The crew have, however, documented their personal little reunions by way of Twitter, so that helped fill the void.
But now our prayers, dreams, hopes, and Uncle Jesse-filled wishes have been answered: A Full House revival is reportedly underway.
According to a new report, repeats of the show on Nick at Nite are doing so well, Warner Bros. TV wants to give it another go in a new light — and most of the Tanner clan are game.
WE CAN’T EVEN HANDLE THIS RIGHT NOW.
Apparently the man, the myth, the legend that is John Stamos is the guy trying to make it all happen.
There’s only one reaction for that:
So far, the show’s original creator, Jeff Franklin, and executive producer, Boy Boyett, are both “actively involved.” Bob Saget (Danny Tanner) and Dave Coulier (Joey Gladstone) are also involved.
As for the girls, Candace Cameron-Bure (DJ Tanner) and Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner) are ready to reprise their sisterly roles — but they may have to do so without their little sis Michelle, played by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. There’s no word on if they have plans on revisiting the role that catapulted them to fame.
There’s also no word on Aunt Becky a.k.a. Lori Loughlin. SIGN THE DOTTED LINE, BECKY. Buuuut Hola Tanneritos, Kimmy Freakin' Gibbler (Andrea Barber) is in!
Anyway, the fact this is likely going to happen has us that much more excited to watch Nick at Nite tonight (yeah, it’s a nightly thing — we’re not ashamed).
Thank you, TVGuide.com, THANK YOU.
Until this definitely happens, we’ll be watching this on repeat:
