They've only been dating less than a year, but that didn't stop Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani from writing a duet together that will be featured on the country crooner's new album!
In a recent interview, Blake, 39, opened up about what it was like to work with his girlfriend on a song, given they come from such different genres of music.

"We were at a point where it's like, 'Do we want to go there? What will people think?' And then we finally just got to the point where it's like, 'You know what? I don't give a s---,'" Blake revealed of the duo's tune, "Go Ahead and Break My Heart."

"I love this song! This song's important to us and the fact that we wrote it together is so important to both of us," he added.
Gwen, 46, couldn't help but gush about the track on Twitter earlier this week:

While Blake admitted he's typically "insecure" when it comes to writing music, the pair immediately clicked in the studio.
"I think Gwen has a smaller circle too when it comes to writing, and the fact that we went there that early as we were getting to know each other, it's just remarkable," he explained to People magazine. "As different as we are musically, we're a fan of the same type of songs... so I think it made it easy for us to collaborate."
