Life & Style has exclusively learned that the couple's divorce settlement talks are on hold while they try to privately hash out where their six children are going to live. Brad thinks this time spent alone could create sparks between them again.
“She has invited Brad over to her new Los Feliz mansion, which is close to his house,” the insider shares. “Part of him hopes they can resume their lives together there and have a new beginning.”

But friends worry that the 53-year-old is being scammed. “Brad has blinders on when it comes to Angie,” the insider reveals. “His friends are very concerned that she is using him to get the divorce agreement changed, and once he realizes that, it could send him spinning.”
In a recent interview with GQ, Brad admitted that it's been very difficult to watch his family fall apart. "It was too sad to be [home] at first, so I went and stayed on a friend's floor, a little bungalow in Santa Monica," he said of his living arrangements, adding that his drinking was a big reason behind their breakup, though he's now sober.
"I mean I stopped everything except boozing when I started my family," the Oscar winner said. "But even this last year, you know — things I wasn't dealing with. I was boozing too much. It's just become a problem. And I'm really happy it's been half a year now, which is bittersweet, but I've got my feelings in my fingertips again."
He's also apologized to former wife Jennifer Aniston, who he's rumored to have cheated on with Angie. "He addressed all the hurt he caused her," a different source previously told Life & Style.
