After almost four years of marriage, Carrie Underwood and her hockey-player hubby Mike Fisher are ready to become parents!
“During the holidays, they told friends and family that 2014 was going to be the year they had a baby!” a pal reveals to Life & Style.
“They’re both finally ready now!”
“Mike and Carrie hoped to get pregnant in 2013,” the friend says to Life & Style, “but then they decided to put it off.”
Most likely it was due to Carrie’s hectic schedule: She ended her 114-date Blown Away tour in late June, then went on to host the Country Music Awards and then made TV history by performing in The Sound of Music Live!
Sophia Anne, 12, Carrie’s castmate from The Sound of Music tells Life & Style the country singer will make a wonderful mother.
"She was like a mom to us. We did feel like a real family. We always used to say all the kids were brothers and sisters and she was the mother of our family!”
"She was so nurturing. If we had trouble, she would talk to us. She was always asking us how we were doing and treated us like real people, not just little kids,” Sophia gushes to the mag.
“Of course she will be such a good mom one day!”
