Fans of Real Housewives of New Jersey could have never predicted that Danielle Staub would be defending her one-time enemy Teresa Giudice when it comes to infidelity rumors, but it’s happening. Teresa is being accused of cheating on her husband Joe, who is currently serving a 41-month sentence in prison.

However, Danielle tells Life & Style exclusively that her co-star is innocent. “As for those rumors, they are absolutely 100% NOT true,” she said adamantly. During Season 8 of the Bravo reality series, troublemaker Kim DePaola told Teresa’s BFF Dolores Catania and Siggy Flicker that she had rekindled an old flame — and that did not sit well with the new and improved NamasTre.

“Not f–king true!” Teresa screamed at Dolores. “You should’ve f–king stuck up for me!” In a recent interview with Life & Style, Teresa, 44, reassured fans that she was not planning on leaving her husband and father of four daughters. When asked if Joe, 44, was worried about the rumors she said, “I don’t know, that’s a question you would have to ask him, but he doesn’t have anything to worry about.”

As for her mended friendship with Danielle, who she once famously called a “prostitution whore” before flipping a table, fans can expect an apology to happen on RHONJ real soon. “In the upcoming episode you will get your answers to that as you have already seen a few highlights with my daughter [Christine], involving that,” Danielle said. “You will see later in the season when we go to Milan. Teresa and I had a beautiful experience where hundreds of pigeons surrounded us and it was beautiful as we were both able to relate that to the passing of our mothers.

And Danielle, 55, has no regrets about returning to the reality show — even if it’s just part-time. “It’s actually like I never left except when I opened the door to walk through, I actually like everyone in the room,” she added. “I can deal with one or two people not like me, but when it was the whole cast, I couldn’t navigate it.”
