<p><span></span><a href="http://dynamic.bauerpublishing.com/mt-search.fcgi?blog_id=2&tag=shannen doherty&limit=20&IncludeBlogs=2"><strong>Shannen Doherty</strong></a> is letting fans into her life with her new series, WE TV's <em>Shannen Says</em>, which follows her as she plans her wedding to photographer <a href="http://dynamic.bauerpublishing.com/mt-search.fcgi?blog_id=2&tag=kurt iswarienko&limit=20&IncludeBlogs=2"><strong>Kurt Iswarienko</strong></a> in seven weeks. "It's a new thing for me, putting myself out there like this," Shannen admits to the new issue of <em>Life & Style</em>, "but I'm loving the response."<br />
She's documenting every step of her wedding process but Shannen says, "I don't consider myself a reality star. First and foremost, I am an actor and always will be," adding, "George Clooney does coffee commercials in Colombia, does that make him a commercial actor? Hell, no -- he's a movie star. I'm still an actor."
Shannen sees the series as a documentary about a woman getting married -- and all the stresses that go along with it. "Shannen Says is about this one particular time in my life. It's like the best wedding video in the world!"
Aside from their bedroom being off-limits, Shannen confides that she and Kurt -- who married in October -- made a pact that the show would be a completely honest portrayal of their relationship. "We just stayed authentic, and I think you really get that when watching the show. I'm just being me."
