Going Green! Kourtney Kardashian Bans Plastic Bottles in Her Home
Out of all her sisters, Kourtney Kardashian is probably the biggest on health and wellness based on all the organic products she uses, so it’s no surprise she transferred that dedication to help save the environment. The reality star, 39, is now committed to having an environmentally friendly household after she revealed she won’t be using plastic bottles anymore.
On February 12, Kourt posted a photo on her Instagram story of two Just Water bottles, that use carton as its main packaging. “No more plastic water bottles allowed in my house,” she wrote as the caption. Just Water was cofounded by Jaden Smith, who is a close family friend of the Kar-Jenners, so we may expect to see the rest of the clan jump on board.
A few months ago, Kourtney met with members of the Environmental Working Group in Washington, D.C. to push for stricter cosmetic regulations. Since giving birth to Mason, 9, Penelope, 6, and Reign Disick, 4, the reality star has become more aware of what she puts into and onto her body and has educated herself to raise them to lead a healthy life. Let’s not forget she and her little ones only live by a gluten-free diet. The mom-of-three is passionate when it comes to her beliefs and often becomes very committed. So, banning plastic bottles is a good start to going green.
When she’s not busy with wellness-related things, Kourt likes to spend time with her children. She recently shared new pics of her daughter, Penelope, who just got her first ever haircut. The 6-year-old opted for a chic bob, very similar to the one her aunt Khloé Kardashian has. “So basically, P is obsessed with me (jk) lol how FREAKING CUTE is she with her hair cut???!!!?” wrote Koko, who took selfies with her niece and posted them on Instagram. We agree — too cute!
