Be Gone, Body-Shamers! ’90 Day Fiancé’ Star Nicole Nafziger Slams Troll for Commenting on Her Weight

“Let your light shine on. No one can take the light from inside you. You have the control in your life. You make your happiness. No one else can take that from you,” Nicole captioned a *very* pretty selfie on Sunday, July 14.

Unfortunately, one of Nicole’s followers took her new snapshot as an opportunity to comment on her size. *Rolls eyes.* This is why we can’t have nice things on social media, y’all.

“Lose the weight, Nicole. Then Azan would come running to you. Trust me!!!!” the person wrote, referring to Nicole’s longtime fiance, Azan Tefou (a.k.a. Hassan M’Raouni). In the past, her weight was a topic of discussion for the pair, but in recent weeks, she assured fans that Azan just wants her to be healthy.

With that, Nicole clapped back with a very level-headed, yet effective response. “Not how it works,” she wrote. You tell ‘em, girl! 

Thankfully, plenty of other people jumped in to defend Nicole … not that she needed it, but hey! It’s always nice to have a little support in situations such as these.

“Nicole, you are beautiful as you are, but your health is important. If you are going to lose weight, do it for you,” one user commented.

“I’m so glad to see your positive, beautiful posts every day and that you’re so confident in yourself to not allow hateful people to tear you down,” added another.

A third person chimed in with, “You’re a sweetheart. I’m sorry you have to deal with these mean ass people. Keep doing you, boo,” while a fourth echoed, “You are beautiful, Nicole, and I hope you are happy in whatever relationship you are in. Everyone deserves love!”

Phew. It’s always a relief to be reminded that people are, in fact, capable of leaving positive comments. Speaking of which, fellow 90 Day Fiance star Paola Mayfield commented, “Gorgeous,” with three heart emojis on Nicole’s picture.

Gorgeous, indeed! Nicole is a beautiful person … both inside and out, and contrary to what that troll may think, she and Azan are going stronger than ever.

“What makes you continue your relationship? Don’t you get tired of distance?” someone recently asked Nicole during an Instagram Q&A.  “I continue our relationship because we love each other and we want to be together,” Nicole began.

“Distance doesn’t mean you give up. It just means you have to fight harder to be together,” she continued. “The journey makes us stronger as a couple and individuals.”

“Why does everyone keep saying you and Azan broke up? I am deeply annoyed,” a second fan asked Nicole. “I really don’t know,” she admitted. 

“I haven’t seen any articles. I bet someone just said it and kept spreading it, but can we just take a moment and say how crazy it is with how many articles there are about me in the last couple years?” Nicole expressed.

Sigh. Rumors are just the worst. Here’s hoping Nicole’s relationship (and weight) stay off limits for haters in the future. If not, we certainly know she can handle herself!
