AwwBella Hadid’s Mom Yolanda Is ‘So Happy’ She’s Back With The Weeknd And We Definitely Agree
So sweet! Yolanda Hadid has only supportive and kind things to say about daughter Bella Hadid and The Weeknd‘s (Abel Tesfaye) relationship. Although she admits they’ve had their ups and downs like any couple, the mom-of-three is ecstatic her daughter found love.
“I trust their choices and I love who they love,” Yolanda told E! News’ Zanna Roberts Rassi on the Victoria’s Secret pink carpet. “Obviously, Bella and Abel had the split there for a while and I’m just so happy they’re back together and I couldn’t be happier about that.” Aw, Yolanda, you’re making us believe in love again.
The Weeknd and Yolanda showed their support from the front row at the VS Fashion Show. The two seemed to really enjoy themselves and even gave a standing ovation. It’s great to see Bella and The Weeknd back together and so happy.
In 2016, after dating for a year and a half, the two called it quits. In the interim, The Weeknd famously dated Selena Gomez briefly. “Abel realized once he started dating around that he actually is still in love with Bella and they reconnected,” a source told E! News. The pair started things back up in July 2018. The two seem better than ever, and Bella is reportedly ready to take the next step. A separate source revealed to Heat magazine, “Bella also thinks that if she and Abel were married, he would change his partying lifestyle and their relationship would stand a better chance of survival.”
While Yoland is supportive of the romance, she reportedly thinks the 22-year-old model may still be too young to walk down the aisle. The source added, “Bella and Gigi’s mom, Yolanda, has tried to tell them they need to wait, but they don’t seem to want to listen.” Maybe mom knows best in this case. Either way, Bella looks so happy and we couldn’t be more excited for her!
