CAVA Brings Back White Sweet Potatoes With Its New 2026 Menu

CAVA is celebrating the new year with a fresh menu designed to deliver bold Mediterranean flavors and feel-good fuel.

In a press release, Ted Xenohristos, co-founder and chief concept officer at CAVA, shared that the new lineup is all about elevating the brand’s signature offerings.

“These new offerings and curated bowls bring the bold, bright flavors of the Mediterranean straight to our guests, and truly elevate our entire lineup for 2026,” he said.

Xenohristos added that the menu was created with balance in mind. “We’re excited to start the year with flavors that not only pair beautifully together but also make it easy to eat well with more protein and veggies. When your food tastes good and leaves you feeling good, that’s a win; and this menu delivers exactly that!”

One of the biggest highlights for longtime fans is the return of white sweet potatoes. First introduced in winter 2021, the seasonal favorite disappeared after its initial run — prompting a flood of comments across social media calling for its comeback.

To thank the most dedicated fans, Xenohristos personally shared the news during surprise Zoom calls, revealing that their “vocal commitment is what brought them back onto the menu this year.”
