‘Celebrity Wheel of Fortune’ Has Revealed Its Next Star-Studded Lineup

The sixth season of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune premieres this week on Friday, Sept. 26. And ahead of the premiere, ABC has revealed the popular game show spinoff’s next round of A-list contestants.

E! News reports that the premiere episode will kick off featuring Dancing With the Stars personalities, who will be taking the competition from the ballroom to the game room. Facing off will be judges Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli, along with current professional dancer Jenna Johnson Chmerkovskiy.

Here’s every other celebrity who we know will be looking to buy a vowel this season:

  • Singer-songwriter Tori Kelly
  • Rappers Big Sean and 2 Chains
  • Former WNBA forward Candace Parker and former NBA center Dwight Howard
  • Director, producer, and screenwriter Paul Feig
  • New Kids on the Block boy band member Joey McIntyre
  • Actress and comedian Retta
  • Actor and producer Oliver Hudson
  • Actress and producer Jaime Ray Newman
  • Marvelous Mrs. Maisel stars Alex Borstein and Michael Zegen
  • The Hunting Wives stars Malin Akerman and Katie Lowes

The new season of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune will also mark the first time Ryan Seacrest will be picking up the reigns, after longtime Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak stepped down. Sajak officially retired from the regular version of the game show in June 2024, and hosted one final season of the celebrity spinoff from April through June of 2025.

Speaking with E! News ahead of his September 2024 debut as host, Seacrest gushed about how much the role means to him, and how he hopes to leave his own unique mark on the game show institution.

“If Wheel of Fortune is offered to you, you just don’t say no. You’ll have bad karma for the rest of your TV life,” the 50-year-old quipped. “This is not a job. This is such a part of American culture. I think this show has so much meaning to people who watch it on a regular basis.”

“I grew up watching Wheel of Fortune,” Seacrest continued. “I loved playing the game. I remember meeting [creator] Merv Griffin. Him explaining how the game was created. It’s a fun game. People can play along to and it’s family fun and that’s why I love it.”

In addition to the new season of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, ABC announced back in May that it had also renewed the fourth season of Celebrity Jeopardy!, hosted by Ken Jennings. However, the network has not yet given a release date to that spinoff, nor named any upcoming contestants. Given that the third season premiered in January 2025, we can probably expect a similar premiere date in early 2026.
